Breast Cancer Cure is a non-profit New Zealand organisation who are dedicated to researching how to prevent, manage and cure breast cancer. Their passionate team have made it their mission to ensure that the next generation can look forward to a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

CurtainStudio are proud and eager to support this cause through a number of initiatives. In October 2021, we donated $1 from every pack of Studio Readymade Curtains and Blinds to Breast Cancer Cure for the entire month. We would also like to encourage customers who are purchasing other products to donate if you can. As BCC say “Even the smallest amount given as a one-off or on a regular basis can make a big difference.”

Not only do we want to raise funds, but we also want to raise awareness. Did you know 1 in 9 New Zealand women are diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime? This means we have the 7^th highest incidence of breast cancer in the world. Men can get breast cancer, too. It is important to us that we educate ourselves and our customers a little more to encourage conversations around breast health and provide support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
