Breast cancer is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide, including thousands of women in New Zealand. It is the most common cancer among women globally, and while great strides have been made in its treatment, there is still much work to be done. One organisation that we are proud to be partnering with is Breast Cancer Cure.
Breast Cancer Cure is a New Zealand-based charity dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer. The organisation was founded in formed in 1997, an initiative of a breast surgeon and a core group, working with scientists to initiate novel research. Since then the charity has worked tirelessly to raise funds for research that aims to improve the outcomes for breast cancer patients.

With no direct Government funding, Breast Cancer Cure relies on the generosity of everyday Kiwi’s including guests, donors and volunteers to fund its essential work. The organisation hosts a range of fundraising events throughout the year, including Fashion for a Cure, which have become major nationwide fundraising experience and a retail campaign called Tees for a Cure that drops twice a year in Summer and Winter featuring artwork donated by top NZ fashion brands.

Breast Cancer Cure's fundraising efforts have already led to significant progress in breast cancer research and treatment. With continued support from the community, the organisation can continue to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by breast cancer. We are proud to support this cause, and for the month of April 2023, we will be donating $1 from every pack of Studio readymade curtains and blinds sold to Breast Cancer Cure. You can help us match our donation by adding $1 to your in-store purchase of readymades.

If you'd like to support Breast Cancer Cure's work, you can donate to the organisation directly through their website, https://www.breastcancercure.org.nz/donate.

You can also get involved in their fundraising events or volunteer your time to support their programs. Together, we can help find a cure for breast cancer and improve the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.
